I realized recently that I’ve been reading blogs for about 10 years now. Whenever a blogger takes a break or disappears from the internet I feel bummed. And then I start wondering what they’re up to and wondering why they stopped blogging. I’ve also been blogging, off and on, for almost 10 years. And I know why I take breaks. I do it when it feels like blogging is interfering with just living life. When I have to take and re-take fifty pictures of a bowl of soup while my kids destroy my house, it’s time to take a break. I’ve just had a nice, long, break, nearly completely free of social media of all kinds. And I needed it so badly. But I’m also ready to come back, in a new and guarded way.
Here I am, after a really long break. I’m back so that I can share my adventure. So that I can share what’s happening in my little corner of the world, so you can peek in on what I’ve been up to and see where I go next. Hint: It involves downsizing in a major way.
Welcome back to us both.
