Moving is hard work! The good news is that the new bedroom is well on its way to being quite cheerful and delicately pretty. The walls are painted (a sweet buttercream yellow) and most of the furniture is painted as well (white). The bad news is that I really thought we’d be finished by tonight and we’re not. An unexpected houseguest complicates the situation (can’t say no to a great aunt with an f-ing adorable dog). Soo, looks like we’ll be moving the bed tomorrow. Okay by me, cause I’ll miss our little bed nook. Let’s take a moment to say farewell to a snugglicious and neat little bed nook.

Sigh. Such a great place to read and blog and snuggle Eric and puppies. Well the upside of this is that this area will be part of my new studio! That tiny little arched window in the back of the photograph is actually a large, square window that I altered to fit the look of the space, so once we move the bed and the headboard it will resume its duty as incredible giver of precious day light! The wall behind the dresser on the right is hidden in this photograph, but it is the home to my famous puppy silhouette wallpaper of last summer.

Well, I’m going to go take a long, hot shower and wash the paint off (two days straight of painting and manual labor) and then enjoy my last night in my favorite snuggle palace ever.

I love this space! Every detail…its awesome! Great work!
