You might have noticed that my blog has a new look- thank you LRhB Industries! I LOVE it, and I hope you do, too! I love the flags and the hand drawn details. So cute. And the colors, of course. I got pretty picky about the colors.
Next on the list- Benefit Kits!
For those of you who haven’t heard, last week my sewing machine died tragically in the middle of a project. I’ve been paying to use a machine at my local craft center, but that’s not particularly cost efficient. So in order to expedite the purchase of a replacement sewing machine I came up with a new section in my shop. The section is called Benefit Kits, and I’m stocking it with . . . KITS Yum! Everything will be $10 or less, free shipping, and it will all be super cute, super simple kits for your crafty enjoyment. The first item listed is this adorable Applique Set, made from really beautiful imported vintage cotton panels. They’re all flowers and berries in sage, pink, and blue. So pretty. The nice thing about these is that they’re iron on, so you literally just peel the paper off the back and iron them on to your crafty surface. You can also stitch over them or embroider on them for an additional crafty kick. They’d look so pretty on lampshades, skirts, sweaters, notebook covers, pillowcases, you name it.

Next time on the crafty blog- Polly Danger fabric short list (although this is actually kind of sadistic since I have no sewing machine. I just can’t seem to stop myself).

Yes!!! Super cute new design for your blog! Great job, Eric. I especially love the little flag the date goes into. Sorry to hear about your machine, that’s the pits. My machine had to go into the shop after my brother totally abused it to make his bicycle panniers, and while it was gone I was lucky to be able to borrow my neighbor’s machine. Good luck!!!
Wow Polly! Sugeeeehhhhhh-cha! It looks great!! It was nice seeing you last weekend in Silver Lake, and I *LOVE* the mini-wallet. My friends are honto ni jealous, yo! Hope to see you again at another show soon!
Okay that is a sweet article from you, it was a nice read, and now I think I have to stay there for more. Your site is really nice and your style rocks too.
