UPDATE- The Pocket Parcel Tutorial is UP! Go see what six bucks gets you HERE.
Guess what I did yesterday. Yes, I did eat popcorn, how did you know? But I also made an AWESOME TUTORIAL!!
You will never leave your re-usable shopping bags at home again! This tutorial is essentially a fancy pocket that you sew on to your re-usable bags, which converts them into compact little parcels that fit nicely into your purse! There’s no need to keep buying bags, or wasting the throw away kind when you can just convert the dozens of bags you already own. This is a super easy project for every level of sewer an it takes about 30 minutes to an hour- how quick is that! Behold!

Look for the new tutorial in my etsy shop tomorrow (Friday)! By the way the reusable grocery bag I used is from Fresh and Easy and it belongs to my sister- guess who got herself a new present! See what lovely things can happen when you leave your crap at my house?!
Thank you SO much to everyone who made purchases in the last few weeks! They allowed me to finally buy my super fantastic new sewing machine, which I used to make this tutorial!!!! Mwah mwah mwah- me to you, and me to my new machine (she doesn’t have a name yet- any suggestions?). I spent most of yesterday playing around with it and reading the manual and doing the happy dance. For my sewing machine nerdy friends out there, I ended up getting a Singer Confidence 7470. It got tons of great reviews from people who use their machines a lot. That was important to me. I wanted to know that I can use this bad boy, or bad girl, or bad gender-neutral machine, five hours a day, five days a week if I need to. I got the thumbs up from the lady at the Viking store.

Fabulous!
